One Week to a Happier You
It is proven over and over again that happiness is brought to us through: gratitude, journaling, giving back, serving others and forgiveness. With this in mind I would like you to join me on a 7-day journey.
Each day there is a challenge for you. Not the “physical” challenge you are thinking if you know me…this challenge comes from our heart set and soul set. I believe we can all strive to be more, do more and in turn make this world a more kind place to live in harmony with one another.
So join in and let’s do this!!
Day 1. Keep a Journal of Blessings
Keep a journal of blessings by writing down three items in your life for which you are grateful.
Day 2. Do Random Acts of Kindness
Perform one act of random kindness before noon and one more before sundown. Making sure you will get NO credit for them and nobody will ever know about them.
Day 3. Write Testimonials of Gratitude
Write to three people who have meant a great deal to you in your life. If the person is alive and close hand deliver if possible or put a stamp on and mail today. If the person has passed deliver or mail to one of their relatives.
Day 4. Write Thank You Cards.
Write three thank you cards…AND SEND!
Day 5. Buy a Book for a Friend.
Buy a book for a friend (or 3) and send anonymously.
Day 6. Make Apologies.
Make apologies for three wrongs you have committed.
Day 7. Donate.
Donate your time, money, or talent to a charity of your choice.
Don’t worry if you don’t all 7 of these done in one week, but do make sure you are continually looking for ways to express your gratitude. It’s not only good for the soul but a healthy body starts with a healthy mind and this is a great way to accomplish that!
